Impressions of Shaltazar

by Mark Layne & Jeffrey Eisen

Impressions is a collaborative effort between Jeffrey Eisen, spiritual life coach, energy intuitive and voice of Shaltazar, and Mark Layne, spiritual seeker and writer.  Their goal is to share the wisdom of Shaltazar in a personal, practical, and comprehensible way to as many people as feel drawn to partake in the energy of the Gavish Banenu – the Master Teacher of Divine Wisdom.

Jeffrey and Mark’s unlikely partnership formed when Mark discovered the messages from Shaltazar on Insight Timer and reached out to Jeffrey to learn more about this fascinating mystical entity which Jeffrey is able to channel.  In true synchronistic fashion, Jeffrey was seeking someone who could translate Shaltazar’s wisdom in written form to a diverse and far-flung audience, as was Mark looking for a venue for his spirit-informed writing.

Like peanut butter and chocolate, these kindred spirits from neighboring countries have allied to bring you their interpretation of what the Shaltazar messages endeavor to relate, along with practical techniques for applying these gifts from beyond the veil to aid the spiritual growth and expand the consciousness of like-minded individuals around the globe.

We hope you’ll be intrigued.  We’re confident you’ll learn.  We know you’ll benefit.

Smoothing the Seams of The Soul

Smoothing the Seams of The Soul

It occurred to me the other day while I was working on finishing my basement, that evolving the soul – or attaining enlightenment or whatever label you wish to attach to the idea of spiritual evolution – is not unlike the process of drywalling a wall. Hang with me for a minute… If you are reading this indoors, look around at the room you’re in.  Notice the even, unblemished uniformity of...

Stepping Outside the Box

Stepping Outside the Box

The definition of “box” is a container, usually square of rectangular, with a hinged or removable lid.  When you think of a box, you think of linearity – straight edges, sides, corners – a closed off space.  In modern lexicon, the “box” beholds a semi-derogatory subtext implying linear thinking, conformism, and lack of creativity. Lately, I’ve come to understand the “box” as exemplifying...

Bridging Our Fears

Bridging Our Fears

It occurred to me that fear is like a rope bridge dangling over a rushing river which connects the current version of ourselves to a higher, more evolved self.  We realize that to evolve, we must cross the bridge.  Standing where we are, however, the bridge looks rickety and unsafe.  We don’t feel confident it will support our weight.  We wonder whether it might give way and send us...

Dear Frustrated and Unsettled

Dear Frustrated and Unsettled

I would love to try to help you understand what’s going on with you in your life and why you are feeling the way you feel. It is possible that in a nutshell, life/God/The Universe is pushing you to understand and embrace who you truly are. Try to remember that what you see in the mirror is not your authentic self.  Buried inside each of us is an actual living fragment of God, of Source,...

This Too Shall Pass

This Too Shall Pass

Looking back over the course of one’s life, two sorts of memories tend to stick out: the exceptionally good times, events, and experiences, and the exceptionally difficult or trying times, events, and experiences.  At least for me, the challenging times seem to hold more energy as they are easiest to recall in the greatest detail.  I suppose like a physical wound, emotional trauma tends...

‘Tis the Season to be Getting

‘Tis the Season to be Getting

This festive time of year seems to be when the topics of money, scarcity, and abundance reach their annual crescendo.  It’s impossible to avoid the onslaught of holiday advertising bombarding us from every direction.  You only need turn on the televisions or radio; look at a computer or your phone.  Billboards and buses are blanketed with gift ideas; mailboxes are crammed full of flyers,...

Destiny or Free Will – Or Maybe Both

Destiny or Free Will – Or Maybe Both

Why is it so hard for us humans to simply be with what is? I believe it ultimately has to do with our separation from Source.  Shaltazar says that so much of human life is about separateness.  We are all born into this world with amnesia as to who and what we truly are and with no memory from whence we came.  By design, we were cut off from the unconditional love of Source upon birth. ...

The Down and Dirty of Emotions

The Down and Dirty of Emotions

Shaltazar speaks often about letting go of the mind, connecting to the senses, and getting to the “feeling” of our desires.  Visualization is a first step, believing a second, but feeling as though you already have what you desire is touted as the key to manifesting. Personally, I’ve never had much use for emotions.  Growing up, emotions were generally considered a weakness to be...

Time, Linearity, and the NOW

Time, Linearity, and the NOW

From the song Time by Pink Floyd Ticking away the moments that make up a dull dayFritter and waste the hours in an offhand way.Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home townWaiting for someone or something to show you the way. Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain. You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today. And then one day you find ten...

Navigating the Energies of Expansion and Change

Navigating the Energies of Expansion and Change

I listened to a podcast the other day featuring Marisa Peer (writer, speaker, therapist to the stars) where she discussed self-talk.  I found it quite compelling, the premise being that what we say to ourselves, especially what we say about ourselves, causes manifestations in our reality, particularly in our bodies. For most of us, our self-talk is negative.  We go through our days...
